A musician of the world, Roy Owen Haynes is a jazz drummer and bandleader.  He is among the most recorded drummers in jazz history.  His repertoire includes a wide range of styles ranging from swing and bebop to jazz fusion and avant-garde.  He has a highly expressive, personal style.  

Abbey Lincoln’s lifetime of jazz artistry has been recognized world over.  She made numerous recordings

MAX ROACH

Maxwell Lemuel Roach was a pioneer of bebop who went on to work in many other styles of music.  He is considered 

one of the most important and prolific drummers in history.  Max worked with many famous jazz musicians and also led his own groups.  Often referred to as a ‘freedom fighter’ for his people, he made numerous musical statements relating to the civil rights movement of African Americans.

One of the most soulful drummers in the business, Jimmy Wilbur Cobb is still swinging.  Jimmy was the drummer on one of the most awarded and sold jazz recordings---Miles Davis' album, "Kind of Blue.”  He is the recipient of numerous awards.
